Govt to mark July Uprising anniversary with nationwide programmes

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced a comprehensive series of programmes to commemorate the anniversary of the historic July Mass Uprising.
A preparatory meeting was recently held to finalize the details of the observance, which aims to honor the martyrs and reflect on the enduring significance of the movement.
As part of the initiative, Bangladesh missions abroad will organize diverse programmes including the publication of graffiti books, display of posters and screenings of the feature film ‘Shraban Biddhroho’, which centers on the events of the uprising.
A weeklong observance will begin in early August with a special prayer and discussion to be held at the Totthyo Bhaban in the capital in memory of the martyrs.
One of the highlights of this year’s commemoration is a colorful rally, set to feature the participation of officials and staff from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting along with its affiliated departments and agencies.বিস্তারিত
