{"id":8633,"date":"2020-02-24T11:02:46","date_gmt":"2020-02-24T11:02:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deshmediabd.info\/?p=8633"},"modified":"2020-02-24T11:02:46","modified_gmt":"2020-02-24T11:02:46","slug":"high-court-rules-on-two-sections-of-the-digital-security-act","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deshnews24.info\/?p=8633","title":{"rendered":"High Court Rules on Two Sections of the Digital Security Act"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span>The High Court has issued a rule asking why the two sections of the Digital Security Act should not be declared unconstitutional.\u00a0Justice Sheikh Hasan Arif and Justice Md.\u00a0A High Court Division Bench comprising Mahmud Hasan Talukder passed the order on Monday.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<div id=\"ifaq_web_midview\" class=\"pg-ad\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>The order came after a preliminary hearing of a writ petition filed by journalists, lawyers and university teachers.\u00a0Within four weeks, the secretary and information secretary have been asked to respond to the rule.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Digital Security Act was enacted on October 7 last year.\u00a0A person filed a writ petition in the high court on January 5 challenging the validity of sections 25 and 5 of the law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Lawyer Imran A. Siddique and Shishir Monir were present in the court&#8217;s hearing today.\u00a0Deputy Attorney General Bipul Bagmara was in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Lawyer Imran A.
