With the weekend falling on October 3 and 4 (Friday and Saturday), officials will have four consecutive days off.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, government staff receive three days of holiday for Eid and one day for Durga Puja.<\/p>\n<p>However, in some years additional leave has been granted by executive order.<\/p>\n<p>For 2025, the Advisory Council approved a total of 11 holidays for the two Eid festivals and two days for Durga Puja.
