Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived
\nhere this afternoon on a five-day official visit to Finland, the third and
\nfinal destination of her tri-nation tour.<\/p>\n

A Lufthansa Air flight carrying the prime minister and her entourage
\nmembers landed at Helsinki International Airport at 1:10 pm (local time).<\/p>\n

Bangladesh Ambassador to Sweden Md Nazmul Islam and Finland Non-Resident
\nAmbassador to Bangladesh Nina Vaskunlahti received the Prime Minister at the
\nairport.<\/p>\n

On her way to Helsinki, the prime minister made a nearly four-hour stopover
\nat Frankfurt International Airport in Germany.<\/p>\n

Earlier, she departed from King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah
\nat 1:30am (local time) for Helsinki wrapping up her three-day official tour
\nto Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

During her stay in Finland, Sheikh Hasina will have a meeting with Finnish
\nPresident Sauli Niinisto on June 4.<\/p>\n

The prime minister will leave Finland for home in the afternoon on June 7
\nand she is scheduled to reach Dhaka the next day.<\/p>\n

On May 28, the prime minister left Dhaka for Tokyo, the first destination
\nof her tri-nation visit to Japan, Saudi Arabia and Finland.<\/p>\n

During her four-day stay in Japan, the two countries signed the 40th ODA
\ndeal involving US$ 2.5 billion after a bilateral meeting between Sheikh
\nHasina and her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe.<\/p>\n

Besides, the premier attended the Nikkei International Conference on \u2018The
\nFuture of Asia\u2019 as a keynote speaker, joined a community reception accorded
\nto her and attended a breakfast roundtable with Japanese business leaders.<\/p>\n

Japanese family members of the Holey Artisan victims and JICA President
\nShinichi Kitaoka separately met Sheikh Hasina there.<\/p>\n

On May 31, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Japan for Saudi Arabia to
\nattend the 14th OIC Summit 2019 held in Makkah.<\/p>\n

During her three-day stay in Saudi Arabia, the prime minister attended the
\n14th session of the OIC\u2019s Islamic Summit in Makkah, performed the holy Umrah
\nin Makkah and offered Ziarat at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad
\n(PBUH) in Madina.<\/p>\n
