Young women wear white sarees with red borders and adorn themselves<br \/>\nwith bangles, flowers and &#8220;tips&#8221; while men wear white pyjamas and panjabi or<br \/>\nkurta.<\/p>\n<p>The programmes of the day will begin in the capital with the musical soiree<br \/>\nof Chhayanat, a leading cultural organisation of the country at Ramna Batamul<br \/>\nat dawn.<\/p>\n<p>Traditional Mangal Shobhajatra will be brought out from Dhaka University (DU)<br \/>\nFine Arts Faculty premises in the morning.<\/p>\n<p>Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar and private television channels will<br \/>\nlive broadcast the programmes.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bssnews.net\/news-flash\/183494\">\u09ac\u09bf\u09b8\u09cd\u09a4\u09be\u09b0\u09bf\u09a4<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The country is set to celebrate Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bengali New Year-1431, tomorrow upholding the rich cultural values and rituals of the Bangalees.
