A total of five Eid jamaats were held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital today, the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.<\/p>\n
The first congregation was held at 7 in the morning led by senior Pesh Imam of the national mosque Hafeez Mufti Mizanur Rahman.<\/p>\n
Muazzin Hafez Mohammad performed the duty Muqabbir in the prayers.<\/p>\n
Devotees from different parts of the capital took part in the Eid congregations at the National Mosque.<\/p>\n
Additional police were deployed around the mosque to ensure security.<\/p>\n
Police personnel were present in the area and at every gate since morning. They searched many people who brought bags. Everyone was also allowed to enter through the archway gate.<\/p>\n
People of different classes and professions offered prayers in the congregation.<\/p>\n
In the munajat, the devotees prayed for the welfare of the country and the nation. At the end of the congregation, the worshipers exchanged Eid greetings by hugging one another.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the second congregation was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8 am led by Imam Hafez Mufti Muhibullahil Baki Nadvi.
\nThe third congregation was at 9 o’clock in the morning.<\/p>\n
The fourth congregation was organized at 10 in the morning led by Imam Maulana Ehsanul Haque.<\/p>\n
