Eight people were killed and 30 others
\ninjured in a triangular collision among a bus, a private car and a motorcycle
\nin Kashiani upazila of the district today.<\/p>\n
Vatiapara Highway Police said the fatal accident occurred around 11 am in
\nMilton Bazar area on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in the upazila.<\/p>\n
The deceased were identified as Dr Bashudev Kumar Saha, 52, a physician of
\nBIRDEM Hospital, his wife Shibani Saha, 48, their son Shapnil Saha, 19, their
\ndriver Azizur Rahman, 44, Firoj Molla, 48, hailed from Dakkhin Fukra village
\nin Kashiani upazila, Firoj Molla’s wife Ruma Begum, 40, Anik Babu, 28, and
\nhis wife Yasmin Akter, 19. All the ill-fated eight people died on the spot.<\/p>\n
The wounded were admitted to Kashiani Upazila Health Complex and Gopalganj
\nGeneral Hospital. Bodies were sent to Gopalganj General Hospital for autopsy.<\/p>\n
Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj Shahida Sultana visited the spot and
