All the government and private offices<\/p>\n
along with transport services are set to resume tomorrow on a
\ncondition of maintaining health protocols after a 19-day-long
\nnationwide strict restriction imposed to stem the spread of Covid-19.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the government re-enforced the strict restriction from July
\n23 after an eight-day pause marking the Eid-ul-Azha since the
\ngovernment imposed the nationwide strict restriction from July 1 for a
\nweek, which was later extended for another week till July 14.<\/p>\n
On August 8, however, the Cabinet Division issued a notification
\neasing the ongoing strict restriction, considering the overall
\ncondition of the country.<\/p>\n
As per the notification, all the government, semi-government and
\nnon-government offices, autonomous bodies, banks and financial
\ninstitutions will remain open from August 11 (tomorrow), following
\nhealth safety guidelines and other rules issued by the government.<\/p>\n
Bangladesh Supreme Court will issue necessary instructions for its
\nsubordinate courts.<\/p>\n
Public transports can carry passengers within their respective
\ncapacities on highways, rail routes and waterways. Regarding the
\ntransport movement on highways, local administrations (divisional
\ncommissioners in city corporation areas and deputy commissioners at
\ndistrict level) can allow half of their total public transport to run.<\/p>\n
Shopping malls, markets and other shops will remain open every day
\nfrom 10 am to 8 pm. All the industries and factories will also remain
\nopen.<\/p>\n
Keeping half seats vacant, hotels and restaurants will remain open
\nfrom 10 am to 8 pm. Mask use must be ensured at all levels following
\nhealth safety protocols.<\/p>\n
If any negligence is found in maintaining the health guidelines in
\npublic transport and different offices, markets and bazars, legal
\naction will be taken against the violators.<\/p>\n
Considering the overall condition of the country, the notification
\nsaid, the ongoing strict restrictions were relaxed to keep the
