congratulated newly appointed Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic
\nRepublic of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba.<\/p>\n
In a congratulatory message to her Nepalese counterpart, she
\nsaid:”Your return to the high position for the fifth time and the
\noverwhelming support extended to you by the Parliament of Nepal on 18
\nJuly 2021, is a testimony to the trust and confidence the people and
\nthe political leadership of Nepal have on your leadership.”<\/p>\n
Sheikh Hasina stated as close neighbors, Bangladesh and Nepal enjoy
\nexcellent bilateral ties that are based on multiple commonalities and
\nshared linkages.<\/p>\n
She expressed her deep confidence that under Sher Bahadur Deuba’s
\nable leadership the existing multifarious cooperation between
\nBangladesh and Nepal will further be deepened through exploring the
\nuntapped opportunities in potential sectors of collaboration,
\naccording to a media release of the Press Wing of the Prime Minister
\nissued today.<\/p>\n
The premier fondly recalled the recent state visit by the President
\nof Nepal to Bangladesh which added immense value to the celebrations
\nof the twin epochal events of the Birth Centenary of the Father of the
\nNation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Golden Jubilee of the
\nIndependence of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n
Bangladesh, she said, is on its way to translating the dream of the
\nFather of the Nation for “Sonar Bangla” into a reality by becoming a
\ndeveloping economy by 2021 and a developed economy by 2041.<\/p>\n
She invited Nepal to benefit from Bangladesh’s socio-economic
\ndevelopment and look forward to working closely for mutual benefit of
\nboth the countries.<\/p>\n
She reiterated that the relationship between the two countries that
\nwas forged when the leadership of Nepali Congress extended support to
\nBangladesh during the Liberation War in 1971 will continue to expand
\nand deepen in the years ahead.<\/p>\n
She extended invitation to Sher Bahadur Deuba to visit Bangladesh
\nat his earliest convenience.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Hasina wished for good health, happiness and success of the
\nnew Prime Minister and continued peace, progress and prosperity for
